Starting your own business is always a big step, and that’s exactly what we did in 2004.

Our journey began much earlier though. In 1997, when our son Matthew was born, we were both working full time but needed to earn more. We became the first local agents in the area for a national blinds company, fitting work around our day jobs, evenings, and weekends for six years.

In 2004, we took the leap and established Spectrum Blinds as an independent, family run business, proudly serving homes across the North West.

Since then, the business has grown steadily through hard work, word of mouth, and loyal customers who continue to recommend us. One of the most rewarding parts of what we do is seeing the transformation in our customers’ homes and knowing we’ve made a real difference.

In 2019, Matthew joined the business and has played a key role in its continued growth. His product knowledge, commitment to customer care, and background in graphic design have helped strengthen both our service and our brand.
